(no subject)

Had a very nice weekend with my chosen siblings. ^_^ We didn't make it to Waverly, but we did have a great evening out, kidnapping my little sister, piling into Friend Rick's SUV, and running up to Bloomington to hit the Oriental market and then going out for hibachi and sake at Asuka. A tad expensive, but worth every cent. After, we watched movies. One was truly hilarious, the other, it was just funny to watch the looks on their faces during the "WTF" moments. ;-P

Next day, I took a walk out at the nature preserve, and got to see two blue herons; one while I was sitting by the lake (it soared down and landed about 20 feet from me), and the second while I was on my way out. They're such pretty birds! I choose to see this as a good omen. Later in the evening, we gathered again and went out to eat, then watched more movies. We also got to meet Rick's latest girlfriend, who was pretty nice but seemed a little withdrawn. She was surrounded by new people, though, so it's understandable.

Just two months 'till June! I hope the house hunt unearths something lovely soon! I can't wait! :-D
