(no subject)

I've been watching Heroes, finally, thanks to anastrasand taytheer. I'm pleasantly surprised. Hiro needs cuddling. ^_^ They also let me borrow Season 2, so I'm looking foreward to that. However... They also had me borrow a little Anime called Di Gi Charat. You remember how Azumanga Daioh scared me? Well... This mind-warping little number defies description. I'm not even going to add a YouTube video for this. The sheer, random chibi-ness is too terrifying, nyo.

We seem to have a buzzard tree... Don't ask me why. They've just been there, roosting in one of the tallest trees in the semi-wooded patch of land between the house and the highway for the past couple of days. Today there were only two, but yesterday there were nine. I haven't seen any carrion on the roadway, so maybe there's something dead in the wooded patch. Or maybe it's the anime. :-|

In the past few days I've made two pretty necklaces.  I've also used a little bit of my tax money to order Series 3 of Doctor Who, Tennant's version of Cassanova (I wanted to see if he's as good in other things as he is as Ten), and this t-shirt.  Still plan on ordering the pretty Pyramid dress, and one or two of those other t-shirts.  Most of my money's going into savings, though.

I also got ahold of The Illuminatus! Trilogy.  I've been meaning to read it for a while.  So far it's proving to be a pretty good read. /:-)
