Consider the Poppies. :-P

As one would a field of poppies.
The flowers need not be picked
To be enjoyed.
It is enough that beauty exists.
As a blossom wilts when plucked,
So does a thing die when it becomes owned.
The truest and purest beauty
Lies in freedom.
And so, one contributes to the beauty of the world
By not striving to own,
By letting things be what it is
In their nature to be.
In letting go, we also free ourselves.
(This is what happens when you fall asleep with Buddhism on the brain.)
