Birthday gift from Dad. ^_^ I loved the play. I've seen it something like 6 times--once when it was making it's first rounds and Nancy (step-grandmother) got us tickets, and 5 times when I was volunteer ushering at the IU Auditorium a couple years later and you could watch whatever you volunteered for gratis (did a lot of volunteering that year >:-) ).

So, a happy camper am I. Good movie. All but the original Joanne and Mimi reprise their roles. As always my favourite scene was the one in The Life Cafe with the performance of La Vie Boheme. Damn good movie--my one regret is that it doesn't have the sheer energy of the live performances. I highly recommend the movie, but if you really want your socks knocked off, see it live ;-)
