There are but three categories of material luxury in which I feel no guilt whatsoever in wallowing.  Books, music, movies.  I spent the afternoon organizing mine and trying to fit them all on this enormous shelf in my room that takes up most of the western wall.  I have a full CD binder with a capacity of 200, about 60 DVDs, roughly 232 videos, and about twice that many books.  They all fit, but just barely.

As I was sitting back admiring the fruits of my labour (as few things fill me with a sense of accomplishment and security more than a full bookshelf)  a new and terrible thought surfaced... There's no room for more.

*grins* Kindred spirits. ;-)

Honestly, I did panic for a moment. :-/

I think what I'll wind up doing is replace some of the videos, as DVDs take up less space. :-?

Hmm......well, there's always those over-the-door media storage racks that they have in the Carol Wright mail-order catalogs.......:-?

I'll tell, you what I really need is a handy spell that'd turn the door to my room into an extra-dimensional portal that leads into a whole other house big enough to store ourselves and all of our things comfortably with plenty of room for more. ;-P

That's just the thing......>:) Hmmm.....do we want the traditional "Wardrobe" facade (comes with its own fur-coat insulation), or the more techno-retro police call-box model....? /:)

Actually, though, I think that the doors of Moria would be a lovely design choice...complete with the necessary foreign password-phrase, of course. Quenya or Latin, love?

*purrrrrrrrrrrrrs* The doors of Moria are a perfect idea, ma bete. Though I think we should choose a language more obscure than either, as both are rather popular at the moment. ;-P

Hmmmmm......well, so far as spoken languages go, I suppose we could do up our research on Aramaic and/or Kemetic.....or anything else that requires extensive back-delving to get the sound of it?

Now, there's a thought. /:-) Certainly something that doesn't sound the way it looks. Gaelic might also be a good candidate. :-?

Actually, there was a small book on teaching yourself Gaelic running about the place....I wonder where it's gotten to. :-?

That'd certainly be something to catch. /:-)
