I don't think there's any single thing. It'd really have to be a series of things. And it wouldn't so much have to be something he does, so much as someone he is. That goes for girls too, incidentally.

I think that it's pulp that shouldn't be taken as seriously as a lot of people seem to take it, and that, when it is taken seriously, it encourages unrealistic and potentially damaging ideas of what romance and love should be.
