I am a leaf on the wind...

I felt like a little bit of piano, this morning, so I'm posting this. My absolute favourite piece ever: Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 No. 3, Murmures de la Seine. I love the way it sort of drifts along, then there are these sudden bursts of passion. I'm still searching for the Perfect Recording, which I used to have on casette when I was 13, but this one is awfully close. I wish I could remember who was playing... I will get back into piano and learn this, one day...

It dawns on me that I can obsess about these sorts of things much too much, sometimes. I listened to ten different recordings of this to pick the best one.. :-|

Edit: Just in case it's showing up as something completely different on other people's f-lists, you do get Chopin if you actually come over to my journal and click... (Thanks for the tip-off, lurkitty :-))
