Can we play dress-up, now?

A question for the folks on my f-list who care about clothes.

So, I've talked about The Dress. The print reminds me of something Edward Gorey might draw, and I think it's pretty bloody cool. However, I also think this jacket is pretty bloody cool. It'd look kind of awesome with this dress and my black knee-high boots. I don't have any bills, this paycheck, so it's doable either way. This is me. This is my build. What would you choose?

I rather wish it hadn't taken ten years, but here's what was really going on in Columbine.  What I would like to know is why it took a decade.  Because a lot of people (our ignorant, small-minded, conservative asshole of a principal included) were only too happy to use this as an excuse to make things hard on gothy kids, like a friend of mine who was expelled, while there was a rumor flying around school perpetuated by teachers that he'd had a gun when, as I understand it, he simply had the wrong book in his home.  If the truth had been broadcast properly, a lot of people could've been saved a lot of greif and maybe other people wouldn't have felt so encouraged to use it to fuel their own personal witch-hunts.  I hope they're bloody proud of themselves.
