Disturbance in the Force
Mar. 27th, 2008 03:53 pmDo you ever get the feeling that there's Something Important going on, say, in a friend's life, but you have no actual knowledge or evidence of it, but it still feels like there's something you should be doing about it? I've got that feeling, this afternoon. It's particularly frustrating because even if I did know what the bloodyhell it was, there wouldn't really be much of anything I could do, aside from providing a listening ear and maybe saying something all deep and insightful. (I can do that sometimes.) That and walking up to said friend like some doomsday loon and say "Dude, be careful, okay?... Why? Well, I don't know why, but..." (I can do that sometimes, too.)
So, yes, Spidey-senses tingling. That's the one thing I find really bothersome about being semi-sensitive. You catch weird echoes and reflections of things and it's fairly rare that it's actually enough information to know what the problem is. I wish there were a way to just turn it on the rest of the way so that I'm not left in suspense and might actually make myself useful.
