Sounds right enough, and I do love lighnting, though I'm not a terribly huge stickler for being in charge all the time. Independent, yes, as much as I can, but in charge of other folks, not so much unless I can't think of anyone better for it.

Today was an interesting day. As is usual this time of the week, I stayed over at Dad's place. He's taken the week off from social working, and that means he gets to find ways of amusing himself all day, so when I woke up this afternoon, it was to find him playing with a pirate cutlass (he has a fair-sized arsenal of sharp things, as well as things that go bang) with my little sister's dark blue chiffon skull-and-crossbones scarf tied around his head.

Later we drove through the snow storm to satisfy a sudden household-wide craving for ice cream.

I love my family sometimes.
(But my little sister wouldn't let me wear her pirate scarf to the store. :-P)
