Beautifully Blustery Morning

Oooh, such a wonderful drive home this morning! The clouds loomed over us like gray floating mountains blown in the howlingly strong wind. the brigtening sky made them look all the more dark and made these really interesting patches of brightness amidst the dark of them.  The gusts were so intent on "playing" with the car we took the highway instead of the interstate, and I'm so glad.  There's something so delightfully wild and desolate and primal about the countryside in winter with the brown, half-flooded feilds and the twisty, naked, black woods silhouetted against the sky.  Exhilarating and eerie.  *shivers gleefully*  It feels like tornado weather.  I feel inspired.
