Looks like I'm getting my blizzard! The ground's covered with big beautiful feathery flakes, and it doesn't look like it's stopping. I hear we're supposed to get the worst of this year's Winter Storm. Fun, fun, fun!
One of my yahoo groups is discussing holding a get-together, possibly next summer. I hope it happens, they're such an interesting lot. One of my other groups decided to try the same, once, but talk of it just tapered off... *shakes her head* Malks, I tell ya...
I hope this one's somewhere interesting--the gypsy in me is getting itchy feet. So far, Denver and some remote place in Washington State have been suggested. My vote goes for Denver. I love Colorado, and it'd be a less difficult trip besides. If it were timed right, there's a good Ren Fest near there... Or, rather, it was good when I was 13; haven't been back since.
*sigh* If I could go to all the places I want to... There's a similar get-together with my Feri group coming up in a few months, and I'm not sure I'll be able to go. Same with Kinvention North. *sigh* If I have to choose just one, I'd like to go to the summer one, but it's sort of a religious duty that I go to the Feri get-together. (When one of the main gods of a Path shows up to fetch you personally, it's better not to take said Path lightly.) Of course, I'm sure there'll be others for Feri. (They have several a year, I understand.) Just have to see what happens, I suppose.
