Tattoos

I took a quiz recently, on which tattoo I should have, but I shall not publish the results, because I have already decided what I shall have. (Finally getting my first at the end of the month, if all goes well.) After much consideration (which ran through such diverse prospects as various drawings by Gorey, Brian Froud, heiroglyphs, Mhendi designs, pentagrams, septagrams, various tribals of my own design... you get the picture) I have decided on Ouroboros, in black and green. I shall have it wrapped around my ankle, perhaps with a bit of its tail curling down from it's mouth so that I can have something dangling from it inked in later.

Blizzard--and I ain't talkin' cherry...

The snow's up to my thighs, in some places. I may be snowed in, here. *big grin* The power of nature, baby! Ain't it great?

I've got the ~best~ story to tell! We're snowed in. There's a snowplow on the road outside. IT'S STUCK. (It's true: the guy who was driving it is standing in the lobby right now.) He says that it'll take at least a couple of hours until someone can come and help him get un-stuck. In the meantime, no one can leave 'cause he's blocking the hotel driveway. It's ~rich~, I tell you! The person who was meant to save us from the terrible snow is just as much in need of saving as the rest of us!
Better still: our car is parked in the lot of the Japanese restaurant two buildings away, ~behind the plow~. We may actually be able to leave.
