I fixed dinner for the family. Soup and salad, but really good soup and salad!

Also, I inadvertently took my kid sister out to shop for a dress for her winter dance. (We had gone to the shop to grab a Victorian-looking sweater I'd had my eye on. The sweater was gone, but we found the dress. Pretty thing in Almost Red magenta with black lace over it, and a little, sparkley black shrug. It was on sale, so I went ahead and grabbed it for her. Her mum paid me back, though. Seeing her squeeing and spinning in it, once we got home, was well worth it.)
