General stuff-n-such

Took the little sis to see The Vampire's Apprentice. Decidedly cute movie; I didn't regret going. Who would've thought Mr. Cellophane could be a badass?

There was some weirdness, tonight, on the way to work. I'd just gotten to the end of the driveway (we have a fairly long one), when I came upon a random marmalade cat sitting right in the middle of it. Just... sitting.

Naturally, I stopped, and the following few minutes turned out to be a game where it'd move a couple feet further down the way, then I'd let the car roll foreward a bit. Then, just at the end, it decided to lay down. So, I parked and got out of the car, and then there was this new game where it'd act like it was coming over to get petted, then run a few feet away, me all the while asking it to please get outta my driveway so that I could get to work. Then, with a decidedly "Well, this was fun. Bored now." attitude, it hopped over into the nearby ditch and pretended I wasn't there.

After standing a few moments in the smirking glow of my own headlights, I climbed back into my car and went on my way.
