(no subject)

Thing 1: So, I had four whole days to myself, just now, due to the fam going up to Michigan to visit my Uncle Andy and Aunt Denise. (Had to forego the trip, myself, being as I'm taking enough days off, this pay period to go to GenCon.) I'd like to say I spent the time walking around the house naked and jumping on the beds, but I didn't... much. (Shhh, don't tell anyone!)

I cooked sweet sausage ravioli with garlic chicken parm sauce my first day, and soup my second, and quesadillas the third and now I'm having fried chicken. (Yum.)

Thing 2: I've got everything but a decent pair of goggles for my costumes for the Con. (Those should arrive in a day or so. Then I'll paint them.)

Thing 3: One of my favourite players in thecityrpg seems to be getting ready to leave. This makes me wibble. Now we're minus a Phantom of the Opera and Starscream-as-a-human, and Reinette (from Doctor Who). T_T On the bright side, said player has let me know where I can contact her if I still want to play with her (which I do!), but the game shall suffer the loss of one of its best.

Thing 4: Today as I was lazing around on the back porch, I noticed that there was a small swarm of 6 or so enormous dragonflies circling over our roof. I can't help but feel like it's some kind of potentially-good omen...

ETA: Maybe not such a good omen. The City has just lost three more players, which adds up to a loss of almost twenty characters alltogehter tonight (INCLUDING THE ONE PLAYING THE TENTH DOCTOR! WOE IS ME!!!). o_0 T_T
