*Tonight, it was Too Bloody Cold!!!! at work. Mind-numbingly, camped-out-in-front-of-the-space-heater-wrapped-in-a-coat-and-blanket cold. (That's -16 with wind-chill, for those playing the home game)... I didn't like it. Will get to replying to the comments later today, as the comp at work is situated right under a vent connected to the un-insulated attic over the lobby, and thus it was too painfully drafty for me to get to them.

*All jewelry is mailed out, as of two days ago, and almost all gifts are purchased.

branadain and R came to see me this weekend, and we had fun playing Trivial Persuit, Fluxx, and watching movies. They gave me a tote bag with a picture of Stephen Colbert on it, and inside I found Geisha by Liza Dalby, and a soft, fuzzy blue scarf that R had knitted for me. ^_^ They also brought me an audio course for my Japanese, and a book on Shinto. They seemed to really like the jewelry I made for them. I am a happy Litha.

anastras and taytheer are also visiting for the week to hang with me and with Anastras' family for the holidays. I gave him a large stuffed penguin, and her a copy of the original House of Wax starring Vincent Price, and they gave me two Japanese movies (Yo-yo Girl Cop, which is darker than you would think from the title, and Azumi, which I have not watched yet, but looks like it'll be good.) They also gave me the strategy guide for Disgaea, which I'm sure will be very helpful. I repeat: I am a happy Litha. ^_^

February seems to be the month for surgeries. anastras will be going in to get his extensive tummy troubles fixed (unless they can get an earlier date), and my friend Chaze has to go and have his knee worked on again. (He has a prosthetic one that's been giving him trouble.) Being as these are two of my most favourite people in the whole world, any early healing thoughts and well-wishes would be appreciated.

Ah, also, had a bit of fun with the police, at work, last night. Apparently, one of our guests out at ye olde hotel had been involved with a meth lab or two. Also, A new bit of info from the girl who works first shift: T, of my previous post, is supposedly into Coke, and I'm not talking about the beverage. Isn't all of that just spifferific..? >_<
