I'm starting to really get hooked on this new game show on Sci-Fi called Estate of Panic. It's so delightfully sadistic! The host is this dapper-yet-creepy Englishman and his silent butler Rupert. They take eight-or-so poor shlubs and put them through these hellish, obstacle course-like rooms that have money hidden throughout them. You get eliminated by either being the last to get out of the room, or having the least cash of the people who do make it out. It's crazy what they put these people through!
For example, tonight we've seen them scrambling around in a room full of garbage (and not just the clean kind. We're talking rotten vegetables) while the walls slowly close in. Then there was the meat locker (you guessed it, maggots were involved), feeling their way over (and through) sides of beef and much less appitizing things, in pitch darkness. Hanging from some of the meat hooks were plastic bags, some of them containing cash and some containing fake cash. They're evil! As I type the final three are crawling through spider, worm, crab and snake-filled tunnels with the ceilings crumbling down around them, bit by bit. I almost want to play! ;-P
