Strange dream
Sep. 1st, 2008 04:30 pmI dreamed today that I lived in a town by the sea, and attended a private school where the students could change their gender at will, provided they had the right parts handy. Downtown there was a seedy district where Japanese poetry was recited in an atmosphere of the forbidden, as though they were live erotic shows. I was touring this place with a midget named Hal, who was also my younger brother, and talking to a club owner who was telling me how she first discovered Haiku and imported it to share with the Western World. How it was a tragedy when one of the poems arrived dead and had to be thrown out, and how the best ones left you with a feeling of being included and excluded all at once. Also, I was teaching myself how to ride a skateboard. Analyze that, Dr. Freud! :-P
