Saturday...

...was lovely. Things started off a bit rockily, being as my old friend wound up not being able to make it, and my cousin and I were about an hour late. (Lateness is rather common, when my cousin is the one driving...) However, after that, pope_guilty, my cousin and I had a lot of fun galavanting around Bloomington, looking at the shops. While we did not find the birthday present we were looking for, I did get some shiny opalite and labradorite beads, and a bracelet of little brownish stones carved to look like skulls. We also went out to eat at a place called Dat's, which sells delicious Cajun food (I'm going to be craving that shrimp etoufee), then went to see the Dark Knight a second time. Ledger's performance was no less impressive a second time, and I may have to plunk down money for a third viewing before it leaves the theaters... Um... Especially since I was a tad distracted.  pope_guilty is cuddley and good at kissing. ;-) 

In other news, I'm in hot pursuit of this pretty thing on ebay.  Nobody else bid on it.  If you bid on it I will hunt you down, tie you up, dress you in your grandmother's clothes, take pictures of you in humiliatingly compromising positions, and post them in very public places. :-P
