anastras and taytheer came to visit this weekend. :-) They gave me a cell phone and let me borrow two video games (Samurai Warriors 2: Extreme Legends and Disgaea) and their WOD Rulebook. We took a small adventure to Bloomington to eat at the Little Tibet and stopped over for coffee and conversation at the Daily Grind in Nashville on the way. Their generosity and refusal to let me pay for anything makes me joke that they're my new parents. ;-P (Don't worry, I'll stop short of calling them Mom and Dad. But, still, I get a bit of a kick out of it.)

We then played D&D until the wee hours, and it was generally an excellent excellent visit. I'll be coming up to visit them, next, probably in early August. Their old house finally sold, so a new house is now being looked for, which means it won't be too long before I get to head up there for good. *does the dance of joy*

Lovely rainy night, tonight. On the evenings when I take a cab to work, I sit on the porch and wait the fifteen or twenty minutes for it to get there. My dad's house is set a fair distance from the highway, with lots of trees between, so it's usually a peaceful time for me to meditate and enjoy the outdoors. Tonight, there were fireflies and reddish lightning, and yesterday there was a young buck with little antlers still covered with fuzz.

This morning I had a very pleasant dream in which I danced with an old friend who I haven't seen in a while, and we talked about California and celebrations. I'm hoping it's a good omen. /:-)
