May. 17th, 2008 09:10 pmWas invited to see Prince Caspian on the spurr of the moment, today. I think it was better than the first, and was a little surprised that it came from the same director. By the same token, the only story in the Chronicles of Narnia I was actually familliar with was the first, so that might have affected my judgement. If I had read this or any of the other books, I might think otherwise. At any right, I liked this movie. A bit darker than the first one, and, I think, a little more cleverly-written, and cleverly-executed. (And the mouse was Eddie Izzard! That made our day. ^_^)
(I think another thing that sullied the first for me was that I thought they could've made better use of Tilda Swinton's abilities. I've been fond of her for a little while, now, and I don't think her performance quite had the power that it could've.)
Ah, btw, still working on the Prelude. I don't have much further to go, and if I can get as much done tonight and tomorrow as I have the past couple of nights, I will be posting the conclusion of the Changeling Prelude by Sunday, Monday night at the very latest. (*squee*) Along with, I'll be giving links to her profile at the Changeling Wiki and a soundtrack. (Hey, if it's worth doin', it's worth doin' right. ;-) All I'll need, then, is an illustration of her.
