Generally speaking, I'm a fairly soft-spoken, polite person. However, here at work, I can't stand people trying to bully me into breaking the rules for them.
Scenario:
We have a group of workers staying here. They always gather early for breakfast, so I'll usually unlock once I'm done setting it out even if it's a few minutes early. This morning for whatever reason a rather large and surly one decides he's going to pound on my window and order me to open the doors. Ummmm, no. That's not how I work. I told him point blank that if he was going to be like that he could ask nicely or everybody could bloody well wait the ten minutes until breakfast was officially open.
They waited. Kinda sad, really...
