Shameless Promo (It's finally ready!!!)

In the heart of Kansas' lonely and haunted plain, reachable only by a narrow gravel road, there is a small town called World's End. It was established in the 1800s by the Pioneers, and had always been a small, poor settlement. The Black Blizzards of the Dust Bowl nearly whiped it out, in the 30's, but for the efforts of one man. Appearing from nowhere, the wealthy Englishman purchased the town and charitably provided for its citizens through the hardest years of the Depression.

The mortal residents saw the eccentric man and his "poor crazy daughter" as their saviors and to present day have been respectful of the "descendants" of the St. John "family." Under the family's influence, the town has stayed prosperous but small. It's citizens largely keep to themselves, and are used to the occasional strange occurrance.

However messages on the wind whisper that something far stranger is coming than anything the town has ever played host to: Anastagio's Midnight Circus and Lunar Carnival. Those who go into the Hall of Mirrors do not necessarily come out, to visit Freak City might mean becoming one, and losing a bet in the gambling tent could cost you your soul...

You are cordially invited to play. The game is Midnight Circus: Ouroboros, a play-by-post based off of the WOD. No dice, no dots (with the exception of Discipline levels and suchlike) required--just good writing (sample required). You've seen Something Wicked This Way Comes? You've watched Carnivale? Meld the two and make some of the denizens Decidedly Inhuman.

Characters from most any of the World of Darkness games welcome, though the setting is pre-Requiem. Interested parties, please inquire at the OOC group.
