Hee!

I love you, TCM! For the third time in as many months, I'm watching the 60's pulp film Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! I must admit to having a soft spot for this movie and what I've seen of Russ Meyer's work in general (which comprises this and Mudhoney). Thank you, Rob Zombie, for trying to loosen the corporate stuffed shirts up enough to get them to show more controversial cult films with your short-lived TCM Underground series. Hey, at least it set precedent to where they'll show this.

Russ Meyer was a rather notorious womanizer, but the way I see it at least he let his female characters be a little more alive and complex and tough than June Cleaver. /:-)
