sing-a

Item #1-- This is bloody brilliant!

Item Too--My pretty got here!  *cuddles shiny snakeys*

Item Thrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrree--Blessed quiet!  On a Friday!  The Pub Next Door has changed hands yet again, and a mix-up with the paperwork has it closed until they can straighten it out.  People keep squealing into the parking lot, intent on alcohol, only to have to squeal right back out again.  No terrible Karaoke!  No drunks trying to check in at 3 a.m. and talk me into letting them pay half price!  Yayz!

Item FORE!!!--It's getting to be That Time of Year again... *sighs* Autumn.  Fields turning gold, birds gathering in great swarming Hitchcockian flocks, leaves turning shiny colours and blowing around in the wind.  Oktoberfest, Halloween!  The scent of dust and dead leaves and woodsmoke on cool cool breezes. Yes, definitely my favourite time of year...

Item V--Doing well in the driving school; haven't killed anyone or even scraped the paint.  Practiced city driving today, with lots of emphasis on left turns and lane changes.  It wasn't too bad.  I will, however, be happier when the school's done, as I've had to forego Tae Kwon Do practice to attend.  It'll be good to go back, and good to not have to get up so early any more, as it makes me very tired most of the rest of the time.  There are things here online that I really need to get back on top of, like my Midnight Circus game and that Snapefic...

Item Sixxx--Notsogood, owwie.  Been having a sciatica flair-up of varying degrees of painfullness for the past two weeks (which might have something to do with the train hitting that car on the way back from visiting Aurey, as that's about when it started).  What's sciatica, you ask?  It's where your sciatic nerve gets inflamed and decides to torture you for it.   Imagine getting stabbed in the lower back, having the knife twisted and then drawn down your leg to your ankle.  That's how it feels on a bad day.  I've switched to more-comfortable shoes and been getting some low-impact-type excercise, so presently it's died down to crampy little twinges in my lower back and right leg, which I take to mean that its going away finally, which is a blessing-and-a-half, let me tell you... (You can tell my confidence that's it's going away by the fact I'm talking about it--troubles sound better in the past tense, imo. Otherwise I feel like I'm whining.)
