1. What did you dream last night?
I don't remember dreaming last night, but the night before, I
dreamed that I was at a family-type gathering in someone's posh
modernish mansion. For reasons I don't clearly remember, I
moved a small, pale green houseplant from one room to another,
and this brought on a swarm of small white grasshoppers with
electric blue eyes who attacked myself and other people in the
dream. My cat was also there, and she pounced on the insects
and ate them. Afterward everyone went outside to watch the
Northern Lights (I remember it was supposedly a big thing,
because they weren't supposed to be visible so far south.) It
wound up looking like a laser lightshow.

2. What image or symbol represents the absolute of your
desires?

Sigil of Malak-Taus
This is a symbol of Dia-na-Glas, the god who (in the Feri Trad)
represents our highest self. I strive to be as much like
my highest self as possible.

3. In what ways has your fate been affected by invisible forces
you don't understand or are barely aware of?
I'm actually fairly aware and understanding of at least some of
the invisible forces at work in my life :-?

4. Tell a good lie.
There is one true way. (*snickers* Okay, so that's a crap lie...
amazing that people actually believe that...)

5. What were the circumstances in which you were most
dangerously alive?
Any time something has really and truly gotten my dander up...
My line may be kinda far back and wavey, but once crossed
there's generally no going back.

6. Are you a good listener? If so, describe how you listen. If
not, explain why not.
I'm a good listener in that I believe in keeping my mouth shut
and my ears open, and I don't spend the time a person's talking
trying to think of how to reply.

7. Compose an exciting prayer in which you ask for something
you're not supposed to.
O Grand High Poo-bah in the Skies! Gimme de casssssssh!
Moola, roubles, yin and dinero! Give me so much money it makes
Donald-ruddy-Trump blush! Give me so much money I can buy
America (and let's face it, it wouldn't be too hard) and have
my first act as National Landlord be kick all the fundies, bigots,
sexists and other such closed-minded bastards out on their arses
and leave them out floating in rafts in the middle of the Sargasso
Sea!

Amen. Awomen, too.

8. What's the difference between right and wrong?
Perspective.

9. Name something you've done to undo, subvert, or neutralize
the Battle of the Sexes.
I pay attention to people and not their sex. I recognize that
neither sex is above or below the other, and refuse to pretend
otherwise.

10. Have you ever witnessed a child being born? If so, describe
how it changed you.
I haven't so I can't.

11. Compose a beautiful blasphemy that makes you feel like
crying.
(Rather hard to do without recapping the lyrics to Imagine... :-?)
Suppose there were no blasphemies. Suppose it's all sacred in its
way.

12. What do you do to make people like you?
I be myself. If anyone reqires other than that, they're not worth
the effort.

13. If you're not familiar with the Jungian concept of the
"shadow," find out about it. If you are, good. In either case,
give a description of the nature of your personal shadow.
My shadow is my friend. My shadow is made of rage and fear and
depravity and I love every iota of it because it's me. I recognize
the power it holds even when it's caged. I refuse to fear it
because to fear it would be to let it become a tyrant over me rather
than a partner. I refuse to ignore it, because to ignore it would
be to make it my enemy, and it's helped me face down too many
enemies for me to treat it with such disdain. My shadow is beautiful
in its ugliness, it is illuminating in its darkness, wonderful in
its horror, and divine in that it's demonic. I love my shadow; to
hate it would be to hate myself.

14. Talk about three of your most interesting personalities.
Give each one a name and a power animal.
There is, of course, Delirium, named after a V:TM character I used
to play, who was in turn named after a character in the Sandman
comics written by Neil Gaiman. My icon of the grinning
red-haired girl? That's her. She is my inner child, and her
animal would have to be a marmalade kitten with butterfly wings.

There is Jezebel, the embodiment of sensuality. She is a daughter
of Lilith, and personifies the song Rev: 22-20 as sung by Maynard
James Keenan. Her appetites are ravenous, be it for sex or the
luxurious feel of silk against her skin. Her animal would be the
serpent.

There is Maggie, who is the mystic mother. Dispenser of comfort
and advice, soother of worries, equal parts optimism and
practicality. Her animal would be a white owl.

15. Make up a dream in which you lose control and thereby
attract a crowd of worshipers.
If I lost control, I don't think I'd gain any worshipers I'd
want....

16. Name your greatest unnecessary taboo and how you would
violate it if it didn't hurt anyone.
If I have a taboo, it's necessary one.

17. Give an example of how smart you are in the way you love.
I love a person for who they are rather than who I think they
should be.

18. What ignorance do you deserve to be forgiven for?
I deserve to be forgiven for trusting people I shouldn't have.

19. What was the pain that healed you the most?
The pain of going through the divorce with my ex-husband. I was
made to feel very guilty over that, but I got a lot of myself back
(most of which I hadn't fully realized I'd lost) by splitting with
him.

20. Make a prediction about yourself.
I will rule the world. ;-P
