Religious authorities in Europe thought it was vulgar and sinful. My prediction is that you're currently entertaining a new trend that will have a history not unlike that of the waltz. It may cause a ruckus in the beginning, but will eventually become the pinnacle of normalcy.

Well, that kinda works :-? I suppose I'm a little vain.... I try not to be, but I also don't believe in false humility. I mean, if I believe in myself regarding something, why shouldn't I be honest about it...? For example, some of the jewelry I make is pretty darn easy on the eye. (It generally doesn't stay put-together for very long if it isn't.) I've never understood what's wrong with saying that I'm good at what I do :-?
