good movies and possible fun...

Watched Dr. Zhivago all the way through for the first time today... Catching Space Odyssey next, and Dr. Strangelove... God(dess) bless TCM and Oscar Month! Also got 8 hours sleep (in a row!!!!) for the first time in over a week. Had some good dreams, though I can't for the life of me remember exactly what went on in them. :-?

Bought some parchment the other day on a whim while I was out running coppies of the SL flyer, so I broke out the pens and am re-teaching myself calligraphy just for fun. Good day, all in all.

I'm mulling over the idea of trying to organize some sort of annual faerie festival, since we never seem to have anything like that in this area. (Closest ren fest is a bloody state over! Mind you, good for that state, but Indiana needs something fun too!) Or maybe not specifically for fae, but Otherkinnish folk in general. I know there's the EM thingy they have in spring and fall, but I'm thinking maybe we need something in high summer, too, something like a combination renfest/otherkin convention/camping trip... :-? Could be fun... I've heard of a place near Bloomington that can be rented out for such things that might serve for a location... I mean I'm supposed to be the SL Indiana branch-head-thingummy-person, right? This would qualify as the sort of thing I'm supposed to be doing anyway right? ... ...  :-? Could be fun...
