Strictly Ballroom, and stirrings in the wind.
It's a lovely, crisp clear night--for the first time in the season I wore my coat. It's the kind of night I'd be out wandering in if I had my 'druthers... I feel sleepy and restless at the same time. There's a stirring in the air, a feeling of expectancy...
If I wasn't saving for the Chicago Trip, I'd want tonight off. As it is I've got a busy weekend ahead, full of 12 hour shifts. :-P Ah well, it works.
There's a new show on TLC called Ballroom Bootcamp that I think I'm liking. Watching them learn the steps calls up soul-memories; makes me feel alert like catching a familiar-yet-unexpected scent on the wind. Part of me left over from some past life knows how; I could do it if I could just get past the knowledge that I've never had a lesson in this life...
