Okay... *ahem*
Just got back from a couple days off. Tuesday, Jamie and I discovered this little bakery/deli downtown. One of those places that's probably been there forever, but you never really notice. At any rate, they have some of the best sammiches and various pastries ever, plus a nice view of the downtown streets. Very nostalgic, very small town. Then went over to Jamie's mom and step-dad's, had some birthday cake and listened to hippie music.
Went over to Hatfield's, last night, drank vanilla schnapps mixed with cranberry juice (tastes just like cherry cheesecake!) and watched a /thoroughly twisted/ Japanese vengeance movie called Old Boy, which I wouldn't mind buying sometime. Almost stayed to watch Ringu II, but by then it was 3 in the morning, and the hubby was tired. :-P
Tonight, we went out with dad and lil sis; had Japanese food and went back to Dad's to watch Kung Foo Hustle. Very funny film; I laugh every time. :-)
I bought some bubble stuff in a fit of nostalgia, the other day, and have since discovered that my cat has as much fun chasing after bubbles as I did when I was a litttle kid. Needless to say, I've been blowing lots of bubbles, lately.
Work on the costume has been progressing well... Aside from sewing a couple more leaves onto my cloak, I just need to make that mask, and find out where my fripping horns went. It's funny; I put them on my book case so that I wouldn't have trouble finding them, and now... I can't find them. >:-/ Gnar.
