Another Saturday Night
Aug. 20th, 2005 09:43 pmThere's a lovely moon out tonight, all white and blue shadows and misty clouds. Makes me wish I had the night off; I'd go sit by the pond back of the apartments and listen to the frogs sing and plop around. We get some fairly big ones, but they don't sing as prettily as the little ones out at Muscatatuk do. I've barely been out there this summer; need to remedy that.
I brought that autumny fabric for my Halloween costume with me, tonight. I figure I'll work on hemming it and sewing on a few leaves to keep myself busy. I think I'll see about finding some sort of mask to add to the planned mix. Worse comes to worse, I could probably make one; I'm sure I'll have some leaves left after this sewing project. :-)
This Brothers Grimm movie Gilliam's putting out soon looks like something to look forward to--then again, Gilliam is always good, in my experience ^_^
I almost bought the Paranoia Agent soundtrack tonight (excellent anime, in my opinion; but I think you'd have to see it from the beginning to understand it. The storyline is a little delirious...). However, I then noticed that I could get both The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and a 2-in-1 of the original Nosferatu and the Lon Chaney version of The Phantom of the Opera for $15 and opted to get that instead. Silent movie marathon tomorrow night, kids! :-D
