Shopping trip tomorrow!!! Me and Raney and Annette are going to Worlds of Wisdom (fun pagan shop in Greenwood). This will be interesting--haven't been there in a while, and Raney never has. :-)

... You know, I've just realized how often I post about going shopping... I'm starting to feel a bit like that girl in Sex and the City... /:-/ I like the show and all, but I'm not sure I want to be this materialistic... I'm supposed to be all mystical and stuff, right...? Doesn't that mean I'm supposed to reject materialism? If I saved up I'd be able to go on more trips and the like... :-/
Okay, kiddies, I'm going to challenge myself; you may want to start taking bets-- I will not get anything unless it's something I /need/ or for my Feri Cabinet.

Now, let's see if I can pull it off...

Well, the statue of Lady Q is finished, and I've since painted a really good portriat of my pretty Blue God 8-) The Feri Cabinet is mostly done... I just need to find/make statues for each of them, and work on the last shelf for A and A. All the work has turned out very nicely, if I do say so myself.
The problem with the last shelf is that it's so close to the ground I won't really be able to properly see anything I'm doing to it, and once I'm done, my work will pretty much be out of sight unless I get down on my belly. I think I'll have to find a couple of cinder blocks to put the cabinet on, or maybe make a separate little one-shelf cabinet for A and A... I haven't decided which, yet.
I might actually do a separate cabinet and have it with /two/ shelves so I can also make a shrine for Persephone while I'm at it. I don't think they'd mind sharing a cabinet, since they basically work in the same general area, so to speak. Then, of course I'd have to find space for /that/ cabinet...

....I love pomegranate tea....

GRAVE DIGGER

Once, as I was burying one of my dead
selves, the grave-digger came by and said
to me, "Of all those who come here to bury,
you alone I like."

Said I, "You please me exceedingly, but
why do you like me?"

"Because," said he, "They come weep-
ing and go weeping--you only come laugh-
ing and go laughing."
